With headquarters in McLean, Virginia, and chapters located across the country, CKF has made its greatest impact in the United States. This is where our mission began and where the majority of our efforts continue to grow. We are proud to have supported more patients here than in any other part of the world.
Cancer Kids First Massachusetts chapters came together at Northeastern University to assemble 71 care packages for pediatric cancer patients nationwide
To date, CKF has delivered an estimated 10,000 toys and books to 50 pediatric cancer hospitals nationwide. In addition, we have mailed more than 21,000 inspirational cards to children and families in approximately 35 states, bringing encouragement and hope during some of their most difficult times.
The United States also serves as the hub for many of our events and fundraising initiatives. We have built strong partnerships with companies and organizations that share our vision of making a difference.
Past partners have included Kendra Scott, Usborne Books, Double Good, Neighbor’s Cookies, Panda Express, Chipotle, the Benedictine School for Special Needs, as well as public schools, libraries, and community groups across the country. Their support has helped us expand our reach and multiply the impact of every campaign.
In September, for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, CKF joined hands with the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) to amplify awareness and raise funds nationwide. Together, our volunteers campaigned throughout communities to support the donation of hospital kits for oncology centers across the United States.
Looking ahead, our long-term goal is to extend our presence and programs into every state. Each child fighting cancer deserves to feel seen, supported, and inspired, and CKF remains committed to ensuring that families throughout the United States can experience that care and encouragement.
