Director of Systems & Hospital Partnerships
Zahra Nuha is a high school senior from New York with a passion for medicine, public health, research, and healthcare advocacy. She is especially interested in the intersection of medicine, policy, and healthcare systems, particularly in making quality care more accessible to underserved communities. Outside of CKF, Zahra is actively involved in scientific research and Model United Nations, and enjoys beach walks, listening to podcasts, exploring NYC, attending concerts, spending time with friends, and trying new cafés!
Zahra joined Cancer Kids First because she believes that every child deserves access to not only quality medical care, but also the comfort, joy, and sense of normalcy that childhood should bring. Through her work in Treatment Services and Hospital Partnerships, she has developed a passion for bridging gaps in pediatric cancer support, connecting hospitals with essential resources, and expanding CKF’s reach to underserved communities, especially in low- and middle-income countries. For Zahra, the most rewarding part of CKF is knowing that behind everything is a child and family whose treatment journey can be made a little easier.
