Sophia is a high school senior from the suburbs of Philadelphia who is passionate about public and global health and the combination of medicine and policy. She joined Cancer Kids First in 2025 and has worked to create social posts for Instagram and LinkedIn. Outside of CKF, Sophia plays violin, swims competitively, and is an avid movie and music enthusiast.
I joined Cancer Kids First because my interest in public and global health has taught me to examine more about how community and healthcare systems can shape a patient's experience. CKF's mission especially touched me because children with cancer deserve care that addresses their disease but also takes their experiences and quality of life into account.
