CKF's 2025 PJAMMIN Event Unites Schools Nationwide for Pediatric Cancer Awareness
Spotlight: Tate Elementary School:
Among the many participating schools, Tate Elementary School in Georgia stood out for their enthusiastic participation and heartwarming dedication to the cause. The elementary students embodied the true spirit of "kids helping kids," organizing activities that raised awareness for pediatric cancer patients throughout their community.
The genuine compassion and creativity displayed by these young advocates remind us why youth-led initiatives are so powerful. When children support children, the impact resonates in ways that inspire entire communities.
CancerKidsFirst extends heartfelt thanks to all student volunteers who brought PJAMMIN to life in their schools. Your dedication, creativity, and compassion have made this event a tremendous success. Every card created, every dollar raised, and every pajama day celebrated contributes to our collective mission of supporting children with cancer and advancing pediatric cancer research.
The energy, enthusiasm, and empathy demonstrated by students nationwide throughout this initiative reaffirm our belief in the power of youth to drive meaningful change.

CancerKidsFirst is proud to announce the successful conclusion of our 2025 PJAMMIN event, a nationwide initiative that brought together schools across the country in solidarity with children battling cancer. Throughout this month, students of all grade levels participated in pajama spirit days, creating a powerful wave of awareness and support during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
The Meaning Behind PJAMMIN
The PJAMMIN initiative holds special significance in the pediatric cancer community. For many young patients, pajamas become a uniform of necessity—comfortable, practical clothing that accommodates the physical challenges and arduous journey of cancer treatment. By wearing pajamas to school, students nationwide stand in unity with these brave children, acknowledging their daily battles and showing that they are not alone.
"This is one of our favorite events to hold during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month because we truly see the power of YOUTH," said the CancerKidsFirst team. "Diverse students of all grade levels came together to create cards, fundraise, and dress in spirit wear, demonstrating that young people can make a meaningful difference in the lives of their peers."
